Welcome to Miyabi Nursery

At Miyabi nursery we dedicate ourselves to providing the highest standard of education for each child, upholding Japanese standards and expectations, preparing children for an international lifestyle, and enabling all children to pass admission requirements for top independent schools in England and Japan.

We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life, and tailored support that enables them to thrive. Creativity, inquisitiveness, resourcefulness and adaptability are some of many key qualities children learn at Miyabi.

Our team of experienced and committed practitioners carefully consider the individual needs, interests, and stages of development of each child in their care, prioritising purposeful play and a mixture of adult-led and child-initiated activities. We aim for each activity to cultivate confidence and enable children to explore and relate to others in a warm and positive environment.

Our academic programme is based on best of both British and Japanese pedagogy systems. We will operate on a 'one practitioner one language' basis, with teacher-led activities held in both English and Japanese.

Holistic Education

Recent times has shown us the importance of exercising, being outdoors, exploring nature and the knock on effect this has on mental health. At Miyabi we prioritise lots of outdoor play, including forest school in our 23 acre field and a range of sports services from our Zekel Sports coaches.

We are an all inclusive nursery, welcoming children of all nationalities. Children can join Miyabi from age 3 to the age of 6 years, and do not require any knowledge of Japanese before joining.

Miyabi Nursery is located in the iconic Wasps Rugby Club (just a 5 minute walk from The Japanese School), which boasts an expansive, high ceiling Great Hall, with disability access, 23 acres of open fields and plenty of on site parking.

Our nursery is very well served by public transport, with district, central, piccadilly and overground lines within a 15 minute radius.
